The 2021 MTV Music Video Awards was held on Sunday with Lil Nas X, Olivia Rodrigo, Beyonce, Justin Bieber emerging among the winners at the event.
Nigeria’s very own Wizkid went home with the Best Cinematography category for the Song “Brown Skin Girl” by Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, SAINt JHN, and him.
Lil Nas X scored the night’s top award, Video of the Year, for “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)”.
In addition to performing pop, sensation Olivia Rodrigo scored three awards, including Song of the Year for “Drivers License” and Best New Artist.
Justin Bieber meanwhile won Artist of the Year along with Best Pop for “Peaches.”
