Twitter is Part of youths daily lives and Source of income – Saraki Reacts to FG’s Decision

Olubukola Abubakar Saraki, MBBS, CON is a Nigerian politician. He was the 13th President of the Senate of Nigeria from 2015 to 2019 and Chair of the 8th Nigeria National Assembly. He’s one of the active users of Twitter and has reacted to the FG suspension of the platform indefinitely in Nigeria.

Recall that Muhammadu Buhari had made a tweet, as regards the current insecurity in the nation, where many people on the social media platform especially the local media drew various meanings, noting it was a threat, forcing Twitter to remove the tweet, and describing such as a violation of their rules.

Sen. Saraki took to his verified Twitter handled @bukolasarki and I quote “No sir! This should not be the response from the president of a nation with a vibrant youthful population for whom #Twitter is part of their daily lives and a source of their income and livelihood. This must be reviewed.
